Hi there, and welcome to my blog! I am a child of God, a wife, a mother, and a design enthusiast. I needed an outlet to let my creative juices flow, and this blog along with my Instagram page fulfill that need for me! I have already met so many great new people by expanding my network, and I can’t wait to see where this journey will lead me. I have found many friends out there who have a desire to connect to other creative souls the same way I do, and I hope that my little blog can be an inspiration to some of you as well!
What started out as a dream for me is slowly turning into reality. I have wanted to design homes for as long as I can remember, but I have always had a fear of failure. Raise your hands if you know what I’m talking about! That little voice inside your head whispering negatives in your ear. What if I fail? What if people don’t like what I do? What if, what if, what if….the list could go on forever! After years of believing that nagging little voice, I finally decided that if I didn’t learn to fall I would never learn to fly.
While this blog is not exactly designing homes, it IS a space where I can share all of the design tips and styles I used when building our own home, as well as some spaces I have designed for friends along the way. With social media platforms booming, blogging is a great place for inspiration for people that want a beautiful space to call their own but don’t have the funds or the know-how to make it happen. I hope to share some great tips on how to make your space your own without breaking the bank or sacrificing your style to do it!
So here I am, silencing that little voice in my ear. If you are hearing that same voice, I hope that if nothing else, my decision to take this leap can help you move forward in your own space and dare to make your own dreams a reality.
